Race Schools
Well worth the money (Although I think they are quite expensive)
I attended the Drayton Croft race school at Mallory Park, once I'd done it I knew I had to start racing!
1. What do you get at a race school?
- The use of a bike (Don't have to use your own)
- Expert instruction, normally from club racers
- A ride on a track without any pressures
On the one I attended I got about an hour on the track, which seemed a bit short (it flew by).
If you do attend a race school and I highly recommend this over a track day, attend it with the view to learn,
you are NOT there to race (You look a right prick if you crash). You can learn so much if you really treat it as going for a lesson,
rather than a blast!
2. How much does it cost?
It varies, the one I attended was 120 pounds.
3. Which one should I attend?
That really depends on you, I attended Drayton Crofts because I'd always wanted to ride at Mallory Park, but there are others.
