How To convert your Road bike to a Racer

I have broken this guide into several stages, the first section is on how to convert your stock road bike into a bike that would pass the ACU regulations. The later sections discuss how to improve the performance of your bike.

If you are just starting to race, I would recommend that you do only the first set of changes to your bike, race for a while, and once you find that the bike is holding you back (rather than your abilities) then start looking to improve the performance of your bike
